Awarded by SISK to supply & install the storm attenuation system for the Lewisham Gateway project.
A storm attenuation system is a modular cell solution designed with a 95% void ratio to retain large volumes of water run-off, which forms an attenuation structure for the control of storm water.
The cells are structurally strong, individual modular cells that can be built to form a structure of any shape or size.
Works included excavating the area, installation of 314nr Hydro International Stormbloc Units that were then wrapped in geo-textile membrane and backfilled.
A Control Manhole Chamber was also supplied and installed to manage the flow of water exiting the attenuation system into the nearby river.back to projects
