Basement Waterproofing and Tanking

Building Maintenance
About This Project

Scope of works included an investigation to determine the damp ingress to rooms with earth retaining walls. The result was a failed external tanking system.

Works included the removal of all fittings, the existing lower staircase, stripping all walls back to the block work, removing all floor screed and installation. The interior block work that was tied into the external block work had to be removed to allow full tanking. All excess material was disposed off site.

Supplied and fitted an internal specialist membrane waterproofing system that connects into cavity drain channels around the wall perimeter, that drains into an external drain point. Floor screed & moisture resistant plasterboard to the walls were installed. We then carried out a full redecoration of the property.
