Contracts Manager – Full time Post.

Ballymore Services have a requirement for a Contracts Manager for our upcoming projects in Mainland UK. The works will mainly consist of major repairs to existing live residential apartment blocks internally and externally.

Reporting to Company Management the Contracts Manager will maintain contract responsibility for the project, increasing the overall performance of the project team especially in relation to quality, on time delivery and overall customer service. The Contracts Manager will assist with continuous improvement initiatives in relation to process improvements, and will also be the lead planner for the project.  The Contracts Manager will plan the workload of the team and all sub-contractors and suppliers whilst ensuring their compliance with respect to health and safety, they will create project plans were required and will work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor always.

Relevant Skills and Experience

  • Managing multiple sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Plan workload with Management.  Highlight key issues – commercial, technical, etc and manage these.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities with Senior Quantity Surveyor and implement
  • Create project plans with key milestones and track performance to targets.
  • Liaise with client team to resolve problems and ensure smooth running of project to target dates.
  • Implementation and Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental procedures at all times.Establishing and maintaining Key Customer Relationships at all times.

Background in Construction and Fit Out works projects preferably.

Site Foreman – Full Time Post.

Ballymore Services have a requirement for a Site Foreman for our upcoming projects in Mainland UK. The works will mainly consist of major repairs to existing live residential apartment blocks internally and externally.

Reporting to the Site Agent, and or Contracts Manager, the Foreman will co-ordinate all trades and sub-contractors on site in collaboration with the project programme and the project management team. The Site foreman will ensure quality of all works on site and ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained to the highest levels.

Relevant Skills and Experience

  • Applicants must have a valid CSCS Card.
  • Must have fit out and new build experience, internals, directing subcontractors & suppliers.
  • Ideal candidate will have knowledge of multiple trades, a strong presence on site and a good eye for detail.
  • Be capable of implementation of Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental procedures at all times.
  • Must have good customer relations and be capable of dealing with property owners/tenants.
